(a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, "mo", and "November") is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide.
(And which happens to look a LOT like a mustache when flipped upside down.)
As a way for woment to show their solidarity with their men during Movember, we’d put out a brand-owned call-to-action for them to grow or dye their eyebrows over the month of November.
SOCIAL MEDIA FILM
Simple yet powerful social content would seed the campaign - we’d see what looks like mustaches from men of a wide range of different backgrounds. This would be revealed to be a flipped shot of a pair of eyebrows, then the scene would rotate and zoom out more to reveal a woman’s face.
Speaking directly to camera, the women would urge other women across the country - and around the world - to support the men raising funds during Movember. This can be done by growing or dyeing their eyebrows as the men grow their mustaches, or by driving donations through a Browvember portal.
